Fully Cooked Smoked Sausage: There are so many kinds of smoked sausage, the options are endless. I listed a few of my favorite brands below.
You can also cook raw sausage using these methods, but the cook times will be longer. Make sure your sausage is at least 160F before eating it.
My Favorite Brands of Smoked Sausage
Hillshire Farm: Their U-shaped smoked sausage is a classic from my childhood. They come in a ton of flavors and can be found at any grocery store. My favorites are Cajun Style Andouille, Chicken Hardwood, Polska Kielbasa, and Turkey Smoked.
Store Brand: If you are lucky enough to live near a Wegmans, go now and pick up some of their sausages. They are so good, and there are so many options. If you don't live near Wegmans, try out your store's sausage brand. They are usually pretty good and have a lot of different flavors.

To satisfy my crew I did all of these at once. The children and I wanted potatoes, but hubby wanted his on bread. Hubby's roll toasted during the preheat. Then while the potatoes cooked I prepped the sausage - one long piece for hubby and the rest sliced since it cooks at same temp/time. The chikdren wanted their meat plain, but when it came out I served mine with barbecue sauce. Everyone was satisfied. This story had a happy ending. Thank you very much
