Substitutions
Diced Chicken – Use rotisserie chicken or cook and dice chicken breast (see recipe notes for instructions).
Croutons – Croutons add a little crunch to this wrap. You can omit them altogether or substitute them with crunchy vegetables like sliced bell peppers.
Homemade Caesar Dressing – This recipe uses mayo instead of raw eggs (mayo does contain egg). Ingredients: lemon, mayo, Dijon mustard, anchovies, garlic, olive oil, Parmesan.
No anchovies? Skip them. No olive oil? Use another oil like avocado oil.
Large Flour Tortillas – You can use a large burrito-sized tortilla or an egg white wrap.
How to Make Chicken Caesar Wrap
Step 1 | Make Caesar Dressing
Whisk together lemon juice, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, anchovies, and garlic in a bowl. Gradually whisk in olive oil until combined. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 2 | Mix the Filling
In a large bowl, toss together chopped chicken, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, and croutons with the Caesar dressing until well combined.
Chopped Chicken
You can use a store-bought rotisserie chicken or make your own.
To Make Chicken: Season about 2 pounds of chicken breast with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, then coat it lightly with oil. Bake at 400°F for 25-35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let it rest before chopping.
Step 3 | Assemble
Lay a tortilla flat and place a generous spoonful of the mixture along one edge. Roll up tightly, burrito-style, tucking in the sides as you go. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
Step 4 | Serve
For best flavor, refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving (optional). Serve with extra dressing on the side for dipping.
