    🥘 Ingredients

ingredients for Big Mac Sloppy Joes

Mayonnaise: The base of the secret sauce.

Sweet Pickle Relish: For the secret sauce.

    Mustard: For the secret sauce.

Onion and Garlic Powder: Seasoning for the secret sauce.

Ground Beef: You can use any percentage, but lean meat (90%+) will be less greasy.

Onion: You cook the onion along with the ground beef and can use it as a topping.

American Cheese: A must to get that iconic big mac flavor.

Worcestershire Sauce: Adds extra savoriness to the beef.

Salt and Pepper: Season the sloppy joe mixture to taste.

Burger Buns: Get sesame seed buns for that big mac look.

    Lettuce: Topping for your burger.

Pickles: It's optional since there is already sweet relish in the secret sauce.

    🧀 Substitutions

Secrest Sauce: I've heard that Mcdonald's secret sauce is very similar to thousand island dressing, but not exactly the same. To make the secret sauce using Thousand Island dressing, mix together 2 tablespoons of mayo with ⅓ cup of thousand island dressing to make the secret sauce using Thousand Island dressing. I haven't tried it, so let me know if you do!

Cheese: I used American cheese to get that nostalgic taste, and it melts perfectly. If you don't want to use American cheese, you could substitute it for cheddar cheese or any mild cheese you have on hand.

    🥡 How to Store

Store any leftover sloppy joe mixture and leftover secret sauce in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
