    🥘 Ingredients/ Variations

    Ranch BLT Rolled Sandwiches

Tortilla: use a large burrito-sized tortilla

Cream Cheese: Let the cream cheese sit out for 20 minutes, so it's easier to spread. You can add seasoning like ranch powder to the cream cheese or use different flavors of cream cheese, like garden vegetables.

Cheese: You can use any flavor of cheese you want, like provolone, cheddar, Havarti, Munster, or pepper jack.

Meats: Choose any lunch meats you like.

Veggies: In addition to lettuce, you can add peppers, onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, or spinach

The full list of ingredients for the Italian and Ranch BLT sandwiches is below in the recipe card.

🔪 How to Make Rolled Sandwiches (Pinwheels)

6 steps to making rolled sandwiches

    1. Cream Cheese: Add cream cheese to the tortilla.

    2. Cheese: Place your cheese in the middle.

    3. Meat: Add the meat down the middle.

    4. Veggies: Spread the veggies all over the tortilla.

    5. Roll: Roll the tortilla.

    6. Cut off the wrap's ends (about 1-1.5 inches on each side), then cut it into 8 pieces. Chill until you're ready to serve.

    🥡 How to Store

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also make these a day ahead.

    🙋‍♀️ FAQ

How long can pinwheels sit out?

They are best served cold, but you can let them sit out for up to 2 hours before you need to refrigerate them again.

Can you make these sandwiches ahead of time?

Yes, you can make pinwheel sandwiches 24 hours in advance. Any more than that, you run the risk of the tortillas getting soggy.

    How many should I make?

For an appetizer, you'll want to make 4-6 pinwheels per person.
For a meal, I like having 6-8 with an apple and pretzels.

    • ½ lb. large deli sliced pepperoni* (2 large slices for each tortilla)
    • ½ lb. deli sliced turkey (1 slice for each tortilla)

    • 1 lb bacon, cooked and chopped
    • 8 slices Provolone cheese, you can use colby jack or cheddar
    • 1 lb deli sliced smoked turkey** (2-3 slices for each tortilla)
    • 3 beefsteak tomatoes thinly sliced
    • shredded lettuce

    Instructions

    Italian

    1. Place a tortilla on a plate or cutting board.
    2. Spread 1 oz of cream cheese all over the tortilla.
    3. Cut a slice of cheese in half and place it down the center.
    4. Place 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of pepperoni, and 1 slice of turkey down the center.
    5. Sprinkle 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons of chopped peppers and a small handful of lettuce all over the tortilla.
    6. Roll the tortilla up tightly. Cut off ½ - 1 inch from each end, then cut the wrap into 8 pieces. Chill for 30 minutes or until you're ready to serve.

    Ranch BLT

    1. Mix the cream cheese, mayo, and ranch seasoning together until the mixture is smooth.
    2. Place a tortilla on a plate or cutting board.
    3. Spread an eighth of the cream cheese mixture all over the tortilla.
    4. Sprinkle an eighth of the bacon all over the tortilla.
    5. Cut a slice of cheese in half and place it down the center.
    6. Place 2-3 slices of turkey down the center, and top with sliced tomatoes.
    7. Sprinkle a small handful of lettuce all over the tortilla.
    8. Roll the tortilla up tightly. Cut off ½ - 1 inch from each end, then cut the wrap into 8 pieces. Chill for 30 minutes or until you're ready to serve.

    Notes

    * If you can't find large slices of pepperoni at your deli, you can use regular-sized pepperoni.

** Try to get your deli sliced meat from the deli. The quality of meat is higher, and the cuts are thicker than pre-packaged lunch meats.
