Easy 25-minute meal or game day app. This Jalapeño Popper Pizza is topped with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, and jalapeños.

Recipe Overview
Time: 25 minutes, add 15 minutes if you need to cook your bacon
Ingredients: Flatbreads, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapeños, green onions (optional).
Ease: Easy. This recipe comes together quickly with minimal prep.
Ingredients & Substitutions

- Flatbreads - I used Stonefire flatbreads for this recipe. I really like the flavor and how they crisp up in the oven. You can use any brand or even homemade flatbread.
- Cream Cheese - You can use regular or low-fat cream cheese, either from the block or the spreadable kind. If you're using block cream cheese, make sure it's at room temperature or microwave it for 10-30 seconds to soften it, that makes it much easier to spread.
- Cheddar Cheese - Sharp cheddar gives you that classic jalapeño popper flavor, but pepper jack or a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack also works really well.
- Bacon - This pizza is loaded with bacon, a full 12-ounce package! I like to cook mine in the oven (see recipe notes for how-to). Make sure it's slightly undercooked, since it will crisp up more as the pizza bakes.
- Jalapeños - Keep the seeds for a little spice. If you LOVE jalapeños, you can use 8 or even 10 jalapeños in this recipe.
- Sliced Green Onions (optional)- They add a nice pop of color and freshness right before serving.

How to Make Jalapeño Popper Pizza

Assemble Pizza
Spread cream cheese on flatbreads and top with cheddar, bacon, and jalapeños.

Bake
Bake 10-13 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
Garnish with green onions, slice, and serve warm.
Tips
Don't Overcook The Bacon - Cook it slightly underdone. It will cook more with the pizza.
Save Time - Cook bacon in advance or use pre-cooked bacon to cut down on prep time.
Serve Immediately - Flatbread is best fresh out of the oven for maximum crispiness.
Common Questions
Bake it in the oven. Lay the bacon on a foil-lined baking sheet and cook at 400°F for 13-16 minutes, depending on thickness. Remove slightly undercooked, as it will crisp more when baked on the pizza.
Fresh jalapeños will give the best flavor and texture, but canned can work as well. Just be sure to drain them well before using to avoid excess moisture on your pizza.
This flatbread has mild to medium heat from the jalapeños. To make it spicier, add more jalapeños. To tone it down, remove the seeds and membranes, or use fewer jalapeños.
Make Ahead
Refrigerate: Assemble the pizza ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 12 hours. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400°F and bake for 12-15 minutes.
Freeze: Assemble the pizza but don't bake it. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and then in foil, and freeze for up to 1 month. When ready to eat, bake from frozen at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.

Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads I used Stonefire brand
- ½ cup cream cheese softened (microwave for 10-30 seconds if needed)
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 12 oz chopped bacon cooked but slightly underdone (it will crisp more in the oven)
- 6 jalapeños sliced thin (adjust for spice level)
- Sliced green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Place the flatbreads on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread each one evenly with cream cheese.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the top, then add cooked bacon and sliced jalapeños.
- Bake for 10-13 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
- Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Lay out the bacon in a single layer (no overlapping). Bake for 13-16 minutes, depending on thickness, until the bacon is almost fully cooked but not overly crisp (it will finish in the oven on the pizza).
- Drain on paper towels before using.
