Ingredients
1package crescent dough
24mini sausage linksI used Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokies
1egg
everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F or air fryer to 325°F.
Unroll the crescent dough. Pinch together the seams of 2 triangles to make a rectangle. Cut the rectangle into thirds using vertical cuts. Next, cut the smaller rectangles in half to make 6 triangles in total, as pictured.
Wrap each sausage with one of the small crescent triangles. Lightly pinch the dough at the seam to secure it around the sausage. Place each wrapped sausage on a baking sheet or a plate, seam side down.
Beat 1 large egg and 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl with a fork until well combined. Brush the egg wash over the top of each pig in a blanket. Then sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
Baking in the Oven
Arrange the pigs in a blanket on a baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. Bake for 17-19, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Baking in the Air Fryer
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Place the pigs in a blanket in the basket, ensuring they’re about 1 inch apart. You may need to work in batches. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the dough turns golden brown.
Notes
Every air fryer cooks a little differently. The first time you make these, check on them at the 5-minute mark to ensure you don't overcook them.
