Ingredients
½cupfinely chopped white onionabout ½ small onion
1jalapeñoribs and seeds removed, finely chopped
Juice from ½ lime
1poundripe red tomatoesseeds removed (about 3 small or 2 large), chopped
¼cupfinely chopped fresh cilantro
Salt
Instructions
In a medium serving bowl, combine the chopped onion, jalapeño, lime juice, tomatoes, and cilantor.
Taste, and add salt as needed.
Let the pico de gallo sit for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Pico de gallo keeps well in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 4 days.
