Ingredients
1tablespoonolive oil
½teaspoontable saltuse ¼ teaspoon if you’re sensitive to salt
½teaspoonchipotle powderswap with chili powder for a milder taste
½teaspoonchili powder
½teaspoonsmoked paprika
½teaspooncumin
½teaspoongarlic powder
1 to 1 ¼poundschicken tenderloinsyou can also cut chicken breast cut into 3 long vertical strips*
½limeoptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Mix together the olive oil, salt, chipotle powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, and garlic powder in a bowl.
Place the chicken tenderloins on a baking sheet. Pour the olive oil mixture over them, tossing until each piece is fully coated.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Squeeze the lime juice over the top for an extra pop of flavor.
Notes
Depending on the size of the chicken breast the cook time might vary. Make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F for safe eating.
