20ozpackage refrigerated cheese ravioliI like Rana 4 Cheese Ravioli
2cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and no longer pink, breaking it up as it cooks.
Assemble the lasagna in a 9x9-inch baking dish in this order: Spread ¼ of the marinara sauce on the bottom. Add half the ravioli in a single layer. Add half of the cooked ground beef. Sprinkle with ½ cup mozzarella cheese. Spoon another ¼ of the sauce on top. Add the remaining ravioli in a single layer. Top with the rest of the beef. Pour on the remaining sauce. Finish with the remaining 1½ cups mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is melted.
Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Using frozen ravioli: Add an extra 10-15 minutes to the bake time, and cover the dish loosely with foil for the first 25 minutes so the top doesn’t overbrown before the ravioli cooks through. Then uncover and bake until hot and bubbly.Make it ahead: You can assemble this up to a day in advance. Cover and refrigerate, then bake when ready (add 5-10 minutes to the bake time if it's going straight from fridge to oven).
