1 tbs butter 1 cup of diced green peppers about 1 medium pepper 1 cup of diced onion 1 cup of diced celery 1 lb andouille sausage cooked cut into 1" pieces. 14 oz tomato sauce 14.5 oz can of petite diced tomatoes drained 3 cups of chicken broth 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning ½ teaspoon of garlic powder 1 ½ cups of rice long grain white uncooked
Melt butter in large dutch oven over medium- high heat.
Add in a green peppers, onions, celery, and sausage. Cook until celery and green peppers or soft and onion is translucent, about 7 min.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir. Heat to a boil.
Turn down to a simmer, cover and cook for 25 min or until rice is done.
Salt to taste
