2cupsoat flourabout 2 cups of old fashion rolled oats blended in a blender
2tablespoonssugaroptional
2 ½teaspoonsbaking powder
¼teaspoonsalt
1cupalmond milk or any nut or cow milk
⅓cupsneutral flavored oillike avocado oil or vegetable oil
2eggs
1teaspoonvanilla
Instructions
Mix ingredients together.
Let the batter rest for 15 minutes to thicken up.
Set the waffle iron to medium-high heat if you can.
Give the batter a quick stir and pour it into the waffle iron.
Once the waffle is golden and crisp, remove it. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
Serve with syrup and fruit!
Notes
Freeze any leftovers plastic bag. Reheat the waffles in a toaster.Also, try adding 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and ½ teaspoon of nutmeg for spiced oat waffles.
