Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat flour about 2 cups of old fashion rolled oats blended in a blender
  • 2 tablespoons sugar optional
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup almond milk or any nut or cow milk
  • cups neutral flavored oil like avocado oil or vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Mix ingredients together.
  • Let the batter rest for 15 minutes to thicken up.
  • Set the waffle iron to medium-high heat if you can.
  • Give the batter a quick stir and pour it into the waffle iron.
  • Once the waffle is golden and crisp, remove it. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  • Serve with syrup and fruit!

Notes

Freeze any leftovers plastic bag. Reheat the waffles in a toaster.
Also, try adding 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and ½ teaspoon of nutmeg for spiced oat waffles.
