Homemade Queso

Easy appetizer perfect for game day or taco night. You need a few simple ingredients and 15 minutes.

What you need: - Evaporated Milk - Corn Starch - Cheddar Cheese - Spices (garlic powder, onion powder, & chili powder) - Toppings (cilantro, tomatoes, & hot sauce)

Shredd cheese. Freshly grated cheese will give you a smoother queso. 

Step 1:

Heat evaporated milk over medium-low heat. Once warm, whisk in cornstarch.

Step 2:

Whisk in cheese in batches. 

Step 3:

Once all the cheese has melted, mix in the onion, garlic, and chili powder. 

Step 4:

Add the queso to a bowl and top with your choice of toppings.

- Cilantro - Sliced Jalapenos - Diced Tomatoes - Hot Sauce - Cojita Cheese -Diced Onions - Can of Green   Chiles - 1/2 Can of Rotel
