- 8 cups mixed greens
- 16oz thick sliced bacon
- 2 pears, cored and thinly sliced, or chopped into chunks
- 1/2 shallots, sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup dried cherries
- 2 ounces gouda cheese
- balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Instructions
- To make the Bacon: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place a wire cooling rack on top of a large, rimmed sheet pan. Place bacon on a wire rack in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes until you get the desired amount of crispness.
- To make Salad: Toss all the ingredients, except the dressing, in a large bowl. Divide among plates. Add dressing.
